Xenophobia: A Poem
Xenophobia: A Poem
XENOPHOBIA
Collective fear stimulates hard Impulse
Tends to produce ferocity ire
Brutal And Disdainful it might be
Slithering across South Africa
Betraying the spirit of African
A betrayal to the African Heroes
Who found refuge in foreign lands
And were emboldened to come back home
And eradicate Apartheid forever
Embrace Rainbow
Which symbolizes peace!
He sounds like thunder
Yelling,
this is not my shelter
But the attracting force is great
He echoes in a threatening voice
This is not my country
then why does it feel like home.
He said we are not brothers
But same blood runs in our vein
I'm saddened and sickened in equal
measure
A time has come to wake up to make a
stand against it all!
He couldn't descry my pure heart
He chased me like a goat eating an Un
deserve vittles
And it pains me to realize what they'd
never understand,
This bond we have,
That runs deep,
Deeper than the seven seas.
Yet, they believe it would hurt
And it hurts to realize.
A day without laughter makes one weak
Love must rise as sky
hatred must fall as mountain....
Xenophobia!
A
word that demand an uphold constellation must stand against...
